Intel® Reader Transforms Printed Text to Spoken Word
A fantastic new model of Intel’s Reader will be of great help for those suffering from dyslexia. The reader will have an efficient text to speech converter that will read the text or still better, play it back. It can capture text from various sources and can be read and enjoyed just the way you hear MP3 from a PMP; with headphones. It also has a high-resolution camera that grabs the visual information as photographs and a cool Intel Atom processor.
First seen at CES, the reader will be available for a whopping $1500. Though the price is way above the expected price bar, this seems to be the only successful attempt towards helping some unfortunate folk read.
