Samsung have unveiled their new “bada” smartphone platform at a launch event in London at Dec 8, 2009.
A build upon Samsung’s TouchWiz user-interface, bada looks set to be a feature rich OS to rival the iPhone and Android.
Interactivity is one of bada’s key selling points. bada will feature flash control, motion sensing, vibration control and face detection. Samsung hope that developers will jump on board to create a range of context aware applications for the platform.
- Samsung bada is a new open platform that enables a richer user experience in applications on Samsung mobile devices
- Samsung bada Developers, an online web site to support developers, is the key to unlock the future of mobile innovation.
