Little Horn Speakers have big sound, little price

September 24, 2009 by: Dennis Hager

Horn speakers have seen a resurgence in popularity. And, it seems that none of them come cheap.

The Specimen Little Horn Speakers are stunning and currently have a special price — just $1,500 a pair, marked down from $1,850. They are compatible with any system, but excel in low-power situations. Hook them up with Specimen’s tube amp, and your MP3 player or iPod can enjoy the how the “horns octagonal geometry minimizes resonances yet allows sound waves to expand freely the way nature intended.” The horns are connected to Fostex full-range drivers.

The Little Horns are 36″ tall and the bells are 14″ across. Not so little at all, are they?
