ImageShackThe highly anticipated Palm Pre has been in the news since the time it was unveiled. According to Boy Genius Report, the phone is expected to be available at best Buy retail stores too. Reportedly, the retail store will be getting approximately 4500 Palm Pre units.

Apparently, the reason of supplying limited units is not yet clear but it seems that these phones will serve as demo models, as every store will get at least one Palm Pre. It is also said that Sprint is planning to take pre-orders a month before it hits the shelves.

This phone will be Palm’s first device which will be based on its new multi-tasking webOS. It comes with the ability to wirelessly sync with various online sources such as Google and Facebook. The Palm Pre features a 3.1 inch display and a 3 megapixel camera with LED flash. Moreover, it also includes 8GB of on-board storage space as well as supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
